Maxus Philippines has expanded its lineup further after announcing that it is now offering the D90 sport utility vehicle here.
The newest vehicle from the Ayala-supported brand follows the unveiling of the D60 back in first quarter this year.
Offered in two powertrain options, the latest seven-seater from Maxus is powered either by a bi-turbo-intercooled direct injection diesel engine that can produce peak performance of 213hp and 480 Nm of pulling power or the turbo diesel that can dish out up to 159hp and 375 Nm.
The Maxus D90 provides both comfort and convenience to its occupants. It boasts a 12-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, eight speakers, keyless entry and push start, cruise control, leather seats, 12-way power seats for the driver, 60:40 recline-and-slide with center armrest and easy entry function for the second row, as well as 50:50 recline, fold-flat function for the last row and dual zone automatic climate air-conditioning system.
The top-of-the-line variety affords an additional eight-way power seat for the front passenger, an All-Terrain System with differential lock for better driving control in difficult roads, and a power tailgate.
Aside from that, features that comes as standard with the Maxus D90 are the sunroof, automatic LED headlights, taillights and daytime running lights, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Further, the Maxus D90 is loaded with a host of safety features namely front and rear parking distance control, front, side, and curtain airbags, reverse camera, rain-sensing wipers, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stabilization program, traction control system, roll movement intervention, hill-start assist and hill-descent control, driver fatigue monitor, and tire pressure monitoring system.
The Maxus D90 is offered with a five-year warranty (or 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first); periodic maintenance service (PMS) interval schedule that follows the first six months or 5,000 kilometers with once-a-year or every 15,000 kilometers (whichever comes first); as well as 24/7 emergency roadside assistance (ERA).
Retailed in two variants, the Maxus D90 is currently being sold for P2.268 million for the 4x4 Premium AT and P1.918 million for the 4x2 Premium AT.
Available colors are Blanc White, Obsidian Black, and Lava Ash; plus two variant-exclusive hues Water Blue and Amber Golden (4x4), and Agate Red (4x2).
