Mercedes-Benz Malaysia teases new EV offering

The Malaysian arm of Mercedes-Benz posted a picture of what could possibly be its next EV offering. The photo shows the rear of a vehicle and is captioned, “take charge” and “plugging in soon.”

Word on the web says that this post refers to the GLC 300 e Coupe plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV).

As the social media post basically serves as a teaser, it’s still not clear what the features of the Malaysian-spec GLC 300 e Coupe will be. However, in the UK (UK-spec photo above), it is offered with standard features such as 19-inch five-twin-spoke alloy wheels, a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel, the MBUX multimedia system, and the Thermotronic automatic climate control system.

Also standard is the Diamond radiator grille, AMG body styling, and AMG-esque diffuser and rear apron.

More information about the upcoming MB EV is expected to be released soon.
