MG Cyberster to make PH debut by 2024?

The MG Cyberster will likely have its Philippine debut come 2024, a source told Carmudi Philippines.

The information shared after the all-electric electric roadster was displayed at the Morris Garages (MG) headquarters in United Kingdom yesterday.

The source shared that while the model will hit Philippine roads next year, SAIC Motor Philippines (the new distributor and importer of Morris Garages vehicles in the country) has yet to share definite timeline for its official retail, noting that the Chinese and European market will have their share of the units within the initial quarter of 2024.

Further, the source said that the Philippine-bound Cyberster will wear a price tag of up to sub-P4 million.

Those who were at the event were SAIC Motor Philippines President Felix Jiang and MG's top dealers in the Philippines such as MG Libis (Grand Canyon Group), MG North EDSA (Autospeedygo) and MG San Fernando (ANC Group).

As seen in the photos, the two-door roadster wears scissor doors and a Kammback rear design.

To recall, new MG marketer in the country recently gave a sneak preview of the MG 4, ZS EV, and Marvel R that will be officially revealed to the Philippines in the final quarter of the year.
