MIAS 2023 sets new record

The number of visitors for the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) 2023 went up by as much as 149,000 — the highest since the exhibit started.

Worldbex Services International Managing Director Jill Ang announced the total visitor count four-day exhibit last April 13-16 was over 149,000, which is 24-percent higher than last year. The same number also reflected a five-percent increase from its previous record of 142,000 visitors in 2019.

Ang attributed the spike on the event-goers’ total volume to the “growing demand for new vehicles this year and the easing of Covid-19 restrictions.”

“Most importantly, we also attribute the show’s success to the support of the automotive industry making our 18th edition of the MIAS a wonderful success,” Ang shared.
