MINI PH Now Accepting Orders for MINI 60 Years Edition

, the authorized distributor of MINI in the Philippines, is now accepting orders for the exclusive MINI 60 Years Edition to celebrate the marque's 60th anniversary. The exterior of the MINI 60 Years Edition complements the interior to create a harmonious look and feel from end to end. Taking inspiration from the '60s and its vibrant heritage, MINI designers have recreated the British Racing Green body color solely for the limited-edition models. Distinctive anniversary accents and trim treatments recapture the spirit of the original in a modern flavour--and ensure its exclusivity. On request, the body is also available in Midnight Black paintwork as an alternative.

For its exterior, the MINI 60 Years Edition has black bonnet stripes with Aspen White and British Oak pinstripes, with the contrasting colors highlighting the roof and mirror cap coloring, while the exclusive side scuttle badging bears the anniversary model's distinctive 60 years insignia which is also projected onto the ground as puddle lamps mounder under the side mirror. Finally, the MINI 60 Years Edition rides one newly-designed two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels in Dark Spectre Grey with burnished spokes.

For its interior, the MINI 60 Years Edition has a hand-stitched, sport steering wheel clad in MINI Yours nappa leather with the 60 Years insignia in the lower spoke. The same insignia is also found on the front door entry strips while the seats are covered in exclusive MINI Yours Leather Lounge 60 Years Dark Maroon leather upholstery with constrasting stitching and piping. Black foil and pinstripes in British Racing Green and Dark Silver on the cockpit fascia add another touch exclusive to the anniversary model. Powering the MINI 60 Years Edition is a 2.0-liter engine that's good for 189 hp and 281 Nm of torque and a 0-60 mph (0-97 kph) sprint time of 6.5 seconds. The MINI 60 Years Edition is available in both 3- and 5-Door Hatch models and has a limited run of only 500 units for each body style.
