MMDA: These roads will be repaired this weekend

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced that the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking and repairs for the weekend.

In its announcement, the agency said that the public works department will start the repairs 11 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. of April 25 at the following areas:

• EDSA Guadalupe Makati City northbound innermost lane (bus way) from Urdaneta Road (beside Phoenix gas station) going to EDSA Guadalupe Cloverleaf (near Guadalupe MRT Station)
• Along C-5 Road second lane southbound
• EDSA-Caloocan southbound before Biglang Awa St. (third lane from sidewalk)
• Along EDSA southbound Service Road corner 11th Jamboree to Timog Avenue Intersection- Timog Avenue corner Kamuning Road, (second block from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Along C.P. Garcia Avenue before Katipunan Avenue (third lane from sidewalk)
• C-5 Road along Pasig Boulevard southbound in front of Burger Machine and along Doña Julia Vargas Westbound in front of Philippine National Bank
• C-5 Road Northbound (third lane)
• C.P. Garcia Ave. fronting Institute of Mathematics (first block from sidewalk)
• EDSA Quezon City northbound after P. Tuazon- Aurora Blvd. (second lane from sidewalk [intermittent section>)

The MMDA advised motorists to take alternate routes to avoid the aforementioned road works.
