Nitto Tires, Index Battery back 2023 King of RIOT

Nitto Tires and Index Battery has pledged its support for the 2023 King of RIOT (Rizal International Off-road Track).

According to YHI Philippines Incorporated — the event’s Gold Sponsor and the official distributor of Nitto Tires and Index Battery here in the country — the multi-stage off-road competition will be held in its new home at The Hamptons Caliraya in Cavinti, Laguna.

The 2023 King of RIOT will happen from November 16 to 19, 2023.

“We recognize what the King of RIOT has done for the 4x4 community in the country. With this, YHI Philippines is delighted to continue our support to the series by pledging sponsorships through some of our top-notch brands,” said YHI Philippine General Manager Jason Delloso.

“YHI Philippines is a company that is passionate for the local 4x4 community, we are honored to share the passion for off-roading with fellow enthusiasts by means of this winning offer to King of RIOT competitors,” furthered Delloso.

Expected to see more than 200 off-road rigs and a bigger number of participants, the 2023 King of RIOT is seen as one of the major contributors to the growing off-road enthusiasts in the country.

Joiners will be divided into various race categories, namely “prototype rigs,” Riot Warrior or “modified rigs,” and “production,” which is subdivided into “big and small,” “Jeep Class,” and the new “UTV Class.”

“Since the King of RIOT’s first-ever race two years ago, more and more people are getting into the 4x4 off-road lifestyle,” said RIOT Chairman Jun Siquian.

“Just the exponential growth in the number of participants over the first two seasons and the expected participants in the upcoming 2023 series, are just enough proof of how King of RIOT has become successful in elevating the quality of 4x4 in the country,” he added.
