Oil firms to reduce pump prices
After welcoming 2023 with a price increase of more than P2 per liter, fuel companies are set to implement rollbacks on their products at the pump tomorrow.

Fuel companies Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, Seaoil, and Unioil announced yesterday that they will implement the price adjustments for tomorrow.How much are the fuel price adjustments for January 10, 2023?
Based on their advisories, pump prices of gasoline products shall slide by P0.75 per liter, diesel by P2.80 per liter, and kerosene by P2.10 per liter.Based on the respective advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petron, PTT Philippines, Seaoil, and Unioil will implement a cutdown of P0.75 per liter on the retail price of gasoline products, and P2.80 per liter on diesel.
Apart from that, many of the aforementioned oil firms shall slash P2.10 per liter on kerosene.
Other local players are expected to follow suit.
The movement on the products’ retail prices shall begin at 12:01 a.m. of January 10, 2023.
Last week, the price of gasoline products increased by P2.90 per liter, diesel by P2.10 per liter, and P3.05 per liter on kerosene.
