Oil firms to stop April 2023 pump price hikes

Fuel companies in the Philippines are set to put an end on  the string of price hikes at the pump for the month of April this week.

    Many of the aforementioned brands will also trim down the retail price of kerosene by P0.20 per liter.

    Other firms are expected to implement the same price movement. The adjustments shall take effect beginning 12:01 a.m. tomorrow (April 25).

    The most recent price hike happened last week when local oil players jacked up the price of gasoline by P0.30 per liter, and kerosene by P0.10 per liter. However, the pump price of diesel went down by P0.40 per liter.
