Peugeot breaks ground on Alabang dealership

Peugeot Philippines announced that its dealership in Alabang, Muntinlupa will be finished before the end of the year.

The French Lion marque's distributor in the country shared the goal following the recent ground-breaking ceremony to mark the construction of the soon-to-rise Peugeot Alabang.

“The ceremonial event ushers in a milestone for Peugeot in the Philippines in its dealer expansion plans since Astara took over as the car brand’s new and official importer and distributor,” the company said in a statement.

The brand's dealer partner Automotive Icon, Inc. (AII) — led by its president and chairman Dexter Co — will be managing the upcoming sales facility.

Leading the ceremonial groundbreaking were Astara Southern Europe and Philippines Managing Director Jorge Belzunce as well as Bergé Auto Motors Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello, Chief Financial Officer Adolfo Careaga, and Peugeot Philippines Brand Head Maricar Parco.

The establishment — to be situated inside Westgate Center in Alabang— will be the first Peugeot dealership that is designed and built according to the brand’s global design concept.

“This groundbreaking is a big step in our dealer network footprint as it helps to fulfill our promise to bring the Peugeot brand closer to customers through more dealerships across the nation. The soon-to-rise Peugeot Alabang showroom will be designed with the customer in mind, and we will remain focused on upgrading the customer experience even further in partnership with Automotive Icon,” Parco was quoted as saying.

For his part, Co said that the completion of the new Peugeot dealership will enable the company to deliver outstanding service that customers have come to expect from AII. “We are committed to provide a truly world-class experience that our discerning customers deserve from Peugeot,” the AII dealer principal shared.

The local distributor of Peugeot vehicles said that while waiting for the completion of the new showroom, customers can visit Peugeot Alabang’s display at the Corte de las Palmas, Alabang Town Center, Muntinlupa City.

Currently, the Peugeot Philippines offers the 5008, 3008, 2008 as well as the Traveller Premium.
