Peugeot Traveller
Peugeot Philippines brings in a new era of SUVs and MPVs with the introduction of the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV and the much-awaited diesel variant of the new Peugeot 3008 SUV. "Peugeot has always dared to go beyond the norm with its distinct French heritage, centuries of innovation, and impeccable craftsmanship," Peugeot Philippines President Glen Dasig explained. "We are continuing this vision with the launch of the all-new Peugeot Traveller and 3008 SUV." Launched in the Philippines last year, the new Peugeot 3008 SUV represents the brand's fresh and bold approach on the SUV segment. "Our newest SUV range defies convention, but at the same time keeps its SUV DNA intact," Dasig explained. "This meant we needed to replace traditional SUV features that compromised the vehicle's weight, performance, and driving dynamic." Peugeot's new breed of SUVs also includes the redesigned Peugeot 2008 subcompact SUV and the all-new seven-seater Peugeot 5008 SUV. "Our newest SUVs represent years of research our engineers and designers have dedicated to the pursuit of providing innovative driving experiences," Dasig said. "Our new SUV range also solidifies our upmarket move, providing more features that further distinguish us from the rest of the competition." The all-new Peugeot Traveller also continues the company's premium branding in the MPV segment. "Our newest VIP shuttle redefines comfort for families and mobile executives," Dasig explained. The all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV boasts upgrades in aesthetics, equipment, and driving dynamics that bring it to the same level as Peugeot's newest range of vehicles. "The brand has and will continue to include its shuttle vehicles in its upmarket strategy," Dasig said. "This is in line with company’s vision to be a high-end generalist mobility brand."

The New Peugeot 3008 SUV GT Line Diesel

Recently awarded as the 2017 European Car of the Year, Peugeot Philippines brings the much-awaited diesel variant of the new Peugeot 3008 SUV to the country. Powered by an advanced 2.0-liter BlueHDI engine, this variant of the Peugeot 3008 SUV shares all the features and technologies of its petrol counterpart. Possessing an output of 150 hp and 370 Nm, this new variant maximizes power while maintaining an outstanding fuel efficiency averaging at 25.39 kilometers per liter based on testing by the Department of Energy. "Our patented BlueHDI engine technology allows for reduced emissions while guaranteeing fast power delivery," Dasig explained. "This, combined with a light frame, makes the Peugeot 3008 SUV diesel variant one of the most fuel efficient SUV's in our range today. The recently published results from the DOE’s annual fuel run has proven this." Similar to the petrol variant, the Peugeot 3008 SUV GT Line diesel boasts of the brand's highly innovative i-Cockpit. Now on its second generation, the Peugeot i-Cockpit on the new 3008 SUV GT Line features a fully-digital dashboard, elevated seating position, and a multi-function touchscreen display. It is also the first Peugeot vehicle to come with i-Cockpit Amplify, a new ambiance concept that offers highly configurable settings such as scent diffusers, massage seats, interior lighting, and driving modes. The new Peugeot 3008 SUV GT Line diesel variant will be available starting February 2018 with an initial suggested retail price of P2.79 million.

The All-New Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV

Completing its new vehicle lineup for the year, Peugeot Philippines is also launching the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV. "The local MPV segment has become highly competitive in the past few years," Dasig explained. "This is due to the changing urban environment in the metro, as well as the evolving needs of Filipino families and mobile executives," he added. With the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV, the brand continues its move upmarket by upgrading its MPV and shuttle range. "The All-New Peugeot Traveller is our invitation to premium travel and comfort in this promising segment,” Dasig said. Featuring a modern and sophisticated exterior, the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV now possesses the brand’s distinctive design elements found in its new generation of SUVs and sedans. An elevated vertical grille with trapezoidal chrome edging underscores the vehicle's bold front, while streamlined side panels structured by sharp lines and smooth wheel arches add to the vehicle's urban style. Proportions are harmonious all throughout the vehicle as well. The compact overhangs and wheels give the vehicle a powerful and confident presence. Sleek lines enhance its aerodynamic flow, while the high window line contributes to its modern profile. This premium feel is further complemented by the hands-free motorized sliding doors inviting its passengers to enter a luxurious cabin. Inside, the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV boasts of wide open spaces, a highly-modular seating configuration, various storage options, and a relaxing ambiance for seven passengers. All rows of seating have adjustable pitches, making ample legroom available to all. The second and third rows can be arranged to face each other as well, creating a lounge set-up complete with captain seats and a retractable sliding table. The vehicle's tri-zone climate control with soft diffusion function ensures equal and consistent circulation of air while two concealable glass roof panels provide an airy ambiance to the cabin. Both 12V and 220V sockets, as well as USB ports, are available to all passengers, providing easy access to mobile connectivity. "The configuration of the all-new Peugeot Traveller's passenger cabin makes it easy for families and urban executives to collaborate and relax, making our premium MPV a unique urban respite where busy streets and congested motorways become avenues for work and play," Dasig explained. The same comfort also extends to driving the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV. Its new wheelbase, adapted from the Efficient Modular Platform 2 (EMP2), provides a light and compact frame without sacrificing space. "The all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV now shares a common platform with the award-winning 3008 SUV and 308 Hatchback and Station Wagon, which means it is lighter, nimbler, and more maneuverable than its predecessor," Dasig said. A new Quickshift interface eases gear changes with the turn of a knob as well, adding to the overall driving convenience. "The all-new Peugeot Traveller is meant to be driven in long journeys, that is why we have made it easier for the driver to shift gears without compromising fluidity," Dasig added. Powering the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV is a 2.0-liter BlueHDI Diesel engine. "Known for its fuel efficiency, Peugeot's BlueHDI technology provides the right amount of power and torque to vehicles at this size," Dasig said. BlueHDI engines incorporate a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system and a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) with an additive called AdBlue that helps in eliminating harmful pollutants such as nitrous oxide (NOx). With its modern exteriors, impressive cabin space, premium amenities, and outstanding fuel efficiency, the all-new Peugeot Traveller Premium MPV is set to raise the standard in premium mobility. The all-new Peugeot Traveller will be available in February 2018 with an initial suggested retail price of P3.39 million. [gallery size="full" ids="27995,27999,27997,27996,27998">
