PHOTOS: Safer Mobility and Logistics Conference and Exhibition

Road and logistics safety stakeholder and innovators trooped to The Tent, Solaire Manila, in Pasay City, to attend the Safer Mobility and Logistics Conference and Exhibition.

The two-day event, organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and co-presented by Bridgestone, seeks to promote the engagement and collaboration among the public and private sectors regarding the stronger implementation of solutions on road safety issues.

Highlights of the event includes the exhibits displaying the latest technology and innovation in the automotive industry, including the Maxus G10 Assist package (which makes ingress and egress of the elderly and persons with disabilities (PWD) easier), Nissan's Intelligent Mobility technology, and De La Salle University's Solar/Eco car.

Other presenters at the event includes Honda (displaying the company's latest safety features in both its cars and motorcycles), Croxtec (an early-warning pedestrian safety app), and Bridgestone (offering an advanced tire lineup that promotes durability, eco-friendliness, and fuel efficiency, among others).

Also present were Shell Philippines (celebrating its 105th anniversary and promoting uts new motor oil designed from natural gas) and BYD with the TANG Hybrid Super Sport crossover (the car plugs into a normal 220V socket for charging).

ECCU's exhibition runs from September 24 to 25.
