Aside from the 370z Nismo, Nissan Philippines Inc. announced the arrival of the Nissan Juke Nismo, which is what we want to call as the athletic sibling of its quirky crossover. Why not? The Juke Nismo packs serious power under its hood. The Juke Nismo is powered by a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine that packs 188 hp and 240 Nm of torque. To put things in perspective, the Juke Nismo comes with 74 hp more as compared to its regular-spec quirky crossover. The engine is connected to a continuously variable transmission and it comes with an All-Wheel Drive system. Nissan says the Juke Nismo can go from 0 to 100 kph in under 7.5 seconds. The Juke Nismo's exterior is highlighted by a revamped fascia and grille, which have been modified to deliver better airflow to the engine. The brand's signature V-motion grille is finished in a darker shade to make it stand out from non-Juke Nismo models. The head- and taillights of the Juke Nismo are smoked or blacked-out in order to separate itself from the regular-spec Juke. © Martin Aguilar for CARMUDI PHILIPPINES Of note, the vehicle's wheel arches are also more muscular while the side mirrors are painted in red. It also has a redesigned rear spoiler and is fitted with a diffuser. The Juke Nismo is finished off with a set of 18-inch lightweight aluminum-alloy wheels. Nissan Philippines has yet to confirm the price and the launch date of the Juke Nismo. What can you say about the Juke Nismo? Drop by at Nissan's booth during the seventh Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) to see the Juke Nismo in metal. The show will run until October 28 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
