Pump prices to rise for 2nd straight week this month

MANILA: Prices at the pump are scheduled to rise anew as local players are poised to execute another hike this week.

    This week, companies will add P1.35 per liter to the price of gasoline, P0.80 per liter to diesel, and P0.70 per liter to kerosene.

  • When will the adjustments take effect?

    The movements in pricing will take effect starting April 29, 2025

    • Based on the advisories from Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Seaoil, and Unioil, the price of gasoline will increase by P1.35 per liter, while the price of diesel will rise by P0.80 per liter. 

    Meanwhile, other companies will start jacking the cost of kerosene by P0.70 per liter.

    The aforementioned adjustments will take effect tomorrow, April 29. 

    For reference, here are the prevailing prices of petroleum products in the National Capital Region, per the Department of Energy:

    Last week’s movement: 

    Last week (April 22), fuel companies also initiated a price increase affecting pump products. Below are the said changes: 

    • Gasoline: P1.35 per liter increase 
    • Diesel: P1.30 per liter increase
    • Kerosene: P1.10 per liter increase
