After being present at Manila International Auto Show 2024, Seres Auto has been formally launched in the Philippine market.

    Per the Seres Auto arm in the country, the partnership leverages on the local company’s “robust distribution capabilities” as well as the automotive marque’s “expertise in electric vehicle manufacturing.”​

    Over the weekend, the company unveiled Seres Auto’s roster for the Philippines. It is made up of the Seres 7 and the 5 series.

    The Seres 7— which is the brand’s flagship offering locally — measures 5,020 millimeters (mm) long; 1,945 mm wide; and 1,760 mm tall.

    Its interior comes with zero gravity seats and full back massage chairs.

    Meanwhile, the Seres 7’s features include submarine-grade hot formed steel body structure and aviation-grade insulation.

    Seres 5 specs

    On the other hand, the Seres 5 is offered in full electric and range extended electric vehicle (REEV) options — with the former being 4,785 mm long; 1,930 mm wide; and 1,620 mm tall while the latter is shorter by 15mm but is 5 mm higher.

    The major difference in aesthetics between the two is the front fascia with the REEV sporting horizontal vents for its grille while the entry variant having none.

    IN addition, the Further, the fully-electric Seres 5 will also have a special-edition version called the Saker Falcon — which is expected to be the badge’s more agile version.

    Slightly different from the entry-level variation, the aforementioned trim is 75 mm smaller and has the following distinct characteristics:

    • Falcon wing headlamps
    • Swift Flying design body line
    • Flight dive side window
    • 20-inch wheels and red calipers

    More details about the vehicles — and their respective prices — will be shared as soon as the company officially commences its retail operations in the country.
