MANILA: Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) bested Ford Motor Company Philippines in the third spot of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Incorporated (CAMPI) sales rankings.

    “Suzuki Philippines’ performance in 2025 is a result of shared effort,” SPH President Koichiro Hirao was quoted as saying. 

    “We sincerely thank our dealer partners, employees, bank partners, media, and especially our customers. This historic achievement belongs to all of them,” he added.

    Key drivers

    According to SPH, one of the key drivers that propelled the brand’s achievement was the launch of the Suzuki Fronx, which strengthened its roster with a modern crossover that offers everyday comfort, smart safety, and efficient performance for urban driving.

    Further boosted its sales in 2025 was the Suzuki S-Presso as it remained a popular choice for first-time car owners, valued for its compact size, ease of use, and fuel efficiency. 

    In addition, family-oriented car buyers opt for the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid and XL7 Hybrid, which offers spaciousness and improved fuel efficiency.

    Moreover, the Suzuki Swift and Dzire helped improve the figure by offering stylish and dependable solutions for daily city travel. 

    Not to be left out, the Suzuki Jimny added to the total number of sold models thanks to its reputation of delivering authentic off-road capability for adventure seekers.

    Finally, the Suzuki APV and Carry continue to support businesses as reliable partners for transport and delivery needs, contributing to the success the company enjoyed last year. 

    “This milestone reflects the trust placed in our brand,” SPH  Director and General Manager for Automobiles Norihide Takei stated. 

    “We will continue to be By Your Side, supporting the journeys and aspirations of Filipinos nationwide,” he concluded. 

    Other achievements, future prospects

    On top of good sales, SPH ended 2025 with 80 dealerships nationwide, strengthening customer access to sales and aftersales services across key regions.

     Looking ahead to 2026, the marque remains committed to sustainable growth and customer-focused innovation, with new products planned to further support the evolving needs of Filipino motorists and businesses.
