Vaccinated motorists get fuel discounts in Caltex ‘Biyaheng Bakunado’ promo

Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), through Caltex, recently launched the “Biyaheng Bakunado” promo. The program aims to fuel the country’s fight against COVID-19 by offering fuel discounts to all motorists who have already been vaccinated.

According to CPI Country Chairman Billy Liu, “To battle swirling myths, fake news, and apprehension about vaccine efficacy, Caltex wants to encourage more Filipinos to get inoculated to protect themselves and their loved ones from COVID-19 by offering fuel discounts. The more people are vaccinated, the faster the country move toward normalcy and economic recovery.”

Vaccinated customers will receive a P3 discount per liter for Platinum and Silver, and P2 per liter for diesel, at all participating Caltex stations nationwide.

A vaccination card and a valid ID are needed to get the discount. Customers will also have to fill out a discount record sheet of the participating Caltex branch.

Customers need to be vaccinated on or before the promo duration and customers who currently have one dose may also qualify for the discount.

“Safety has always been a value of Caltex and this initiative is one way of fleshing out what is important to the Caltex brand and its customers,” added Liu.

In addition to the contactless payment options, Caltex ensures proper safety measures are observed in each station through regular sanitation, temperature checks for its staff, and social distancing measures.

The “Biyaheng Bakunado” promo will run from June 28 to July 18, 2021.
