Striving to make their app as user-friendly as possible, Waze has been providing users with the option to choose the voice that gives them directions. One of the more popular voices offered by the app comes from Mimiyuuuh, a social media influencer who started out posting humorous videos on Instagram. Waze added Mimiyuuuh’s voice to the app during December of last year, bringing plenty of holiday cheer to users when the option first came out. The popularity of the voice option is what prompted Waze to add more phrases to the repertoire. Here is a sampling of Mimiyuuuh’s latest phrases: ​“May crash reported ahead daw po, opo! Traffic ang abot natin nito, mag-vocalizationism ka muna dya-an!” and ​“Turn left! Rawr rawr rawr!” which Waze hopes will inject more fun and laughter entertaining drivers on the road. Mimiyuuuh, born Jeremy Sancebuche, is the second Filipino personality to appear on the GPS navigation app after Miss Universe 2018 winner Catriona Gray. Available to users in the Philippines until the 31 March 2020, the exclusive Lazada Ambassador’s Waze voice option is a collaboration with Lazada, and is aimed at delivering the best driving and navigation experience for its users.
