About JAC Philippines

JAC Motors, just like other Chinese automakers, is in its early days in the Philippines. The automobile company landed on the Filipino shores in 2018. Since then, it has seen a slow but steady increase in the sales of its passenger vehicles.

The current lineup of JAC passenger vehicles in the Philippines incorporates nine different models including the M3, M4, and Sunray (Vans), S1, S2, and S3 (Crossovers), S7 (SUV), J4 (Sedan), and the T6 (Pickup Truck). The JAC S1 remains to be the cheapest of the offerings with a price tag of Php 585,000. On the other hand, the priciest model in the portfolio is the JAC Sunray, which goes up to Php 1.92 million.

There are also two upcoming models for the Philippine market, the JAC T8 and the JAC S4. We should witness the launch of these two JAC models in the latter half of 2020.

The list of the top-selling auto brands in the Philippines in 2019, which was released by CAMPI, TMA, and AVID, saw the Chinese automaker sell 57 passenger vehicles throughout the year 2019. Previously, JAC could only trade 33 units in the country in 2018.
