1st Audi Sport Drive sees largest collection of Nürburgring-tested cars and SUVs in the country

The recently held Audi Sport Drive, organized by Audi Philippines, rounded up a huge number of Audi sports cars and SUVs in the country — a score of which are high-performance RS models.

  • Where did the participants of the Audi Sport Drive begin their trip?

They began the trip from Petron Dasmariñas Village.
  • Where did they conclude the trip?

The trip ended at Audi BGC.
  • What model was announced at Audi BGC?

Audi Philippines announced the arrival of the all-new Audi RS 3 Sportback.
  • For the uninitiated, the RS badge is slapped only on select Audi vehicles. An RS badge means that the car wearing it has undergone development work at the famed Nürburgring track and that it has logged — at the very least — 8,000 kilometers of testing.

That said, every RS model — be it a compact, sedan, coupe, wagon, or an SUV — has a capacity to be driven daily while still offering features that are focused on performance.

Nearly 60 owners signed up for the Audi Sport Drive, turning up with a variety of models, such as the RS 3 Sedan, RS 4 Avant, RS 5 Coupe and Sportback, RS 6 Avant, RS Q3, RS Q8, and the R8 supercar.

Participants of the first-ever Audi Sport Drive took off for a Sunday morning drive from the Petron station at Dasmariñas Village. Their trip brought them to the south of Metro Manila and back to the Audi Global City showroom in Bonifacio Global City.

At the end of the drive, the participants were able to enjoy each other’s company in a safe sanitized, and relaxing venue offered by the Audi dealership in BGC. Here, the features which make the latest Audi Sport models like the 2022 RS 5 Sportback and RS Q3 Sportback the performance and technology leaders in their respective segments were highlighted.

Additionally, Audi Philippines announced the arrival of the all-new Audi RS 3 Sportback and said that it will be equipped with the brand’s 10-time Engine of the Year winner five-cylinder powerplant that produces 400 horses and 500Nm of torque. Audi Philippines added that the Audi RS 3 Sportback the first Audi ever to be fitted with the RS torque splitter, which variably distributes torque between the rear wheels.

Audi Philippines also presented other models including the fully electric Audi e-tron SUV and e-tron GT four-door grand tourer to those present at Audi BGC.
