2 FOR 2 IN FORS

Carmudi Racing Team attains podium finish anew in Flat Out Race Series   There was no fooling around last April 1 for Team Carmudi Racing as it finished strong in the second round of the 2017 Flat Out Race Series (FORS) at the Batangas Racing Circuit. Managed by Carmudi Philippines PR and marketing head Kris Lim, the team notched a second-place finish courtesy of Polo Bautista in the Smart Fuel Grid C category. Aside from Bautista, the team is composed of Carmudi Magazine Philippines technical editor Francisco “Pacho” Blanco, Ronn Catindig, and Amiel de Leon – the same team which fired the opening salvo in the first round of the highly anticipated motor sport series in the country.   Bautista, the team's youngest driver, claimed second place after an exciting battle between him and Sherwin Bagos. Bautista, who is drives his No. 28 Carmudi Honda Civic EG, was just behind Bagos by seven seconds. Bautista's best finish, 2:00.133, was less than a second away from the winning time. Also during the first round, Team Carmudi Racing registered triumphs against 88 other racers in the Time Attack and Grid races. Catindig finished in first place in Time Attack in Bracket F, and almost made a “perfect” 2:08.079 lap, after he ran past his closest opponents, Greg Suing in second and Robert Tan in third. Carmudi PH supports FORS, which now on its third year and is guided by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Carmudi’s Lim provided morale support at the event and expressed firm belief that they have a good roster in hand. “I would like to commend Bautista for keeping it close,” he said. “The whole team is proud to have you on board, bannering the company with your victories. We hope you and the team will continue to do more as this racing series progresses.”   He added that Carmudi clearly made a good move in building up its pool of talents. “They simply and effectively represent the robust business that Carmudi has brought into the country,” Lim claimed. “Bautista’s win surely proves that despite one’s youth, he or she can still compete with the top dogs – exactly how we see the Carmudi business here in the country. Carmudi Philippines will compete, and will continue to compete to bring the best in the online classifieds platform.”

Round 3 of the 2017 FORS will be held on May 20 at the Batangas Racing Circuit. Carmudi PH throws its full supports behind the series, which is now on its third year.
