2023 Honda Pilot to arrive in US dealerships next month

The United States (US) arm of Honda announced that the 2023 Pilot sport utility vehicle (SUV) will be available in the country on December 12, 2022.

Customers can choose from 10 variants namely Sport front-wheel-drive (FWD), Sport all-wheel-drive (AWD), EX-L (FWD) Eight-Seater, EX-L (FWD) Seven-Seater, EX-L (AWD) Eight-Seater, EX-L (AWD) Seven-Seater, Touring (FWD), Touring (AWD), TrailSport (AWD), and the range-topping Elite (AWD).

Prices range from US$39,150 (P2.221 million) to US$52,030 (P2.952 million).

“We’ve re-engineered the all-new Honda Pilot from the ground up to set a new benchmark in the midsize three-row SUV class. With more space, power, and capability, the new Pilot is more rugged than ever and ready for that next great family adventure,” said American Honda Motor Co., Inc. National Auto Sales Vice President (VP) Lance Woelfer.

To be made available for the first time on the Honda Pilot is a new Honda Performance Development (HPD) Package. This optional add-on will take the Honda Pilot’s rugged new styling even further.

The HPD Package will add fender flares, aggressive bronze- or black-colored wheels, and special HPD graphics. It is priced at US$2,950 (P167,400). The HPD Package will be made available on all Honda Pilot trims.

Per Honda, the new fourth-generation Pilot and Pilot TrailSport will continue to be built in America, exclusively at the Honda Alabama Auto Plant in Lincoln, Alabama.
