3 straight price cuts end—oil price to increase tomorrow

Fuel station

After a price slash of more than P1 per liter on all fuel products by the pump last week, oil companies are set to jack up prices across-the-board starting tomorrow (Tuesday, September 22).

Based on their respective advisories, oil players Cleanfuel and Pilipinas Shell will implement the following price hikes:

  • P0.60 per liter on gasoline
  • P0.20 per liter on diesel

Also, Shell, the oil player with the second biggest network in the country, will increase the price of kerosene by P0.55 per liter tomorrow.

Last week, September 15, fuel players lowered the prices of diesel by P1.50-P1.55 per liter,  P1.45 on kerosene and P1 per liter on gasoline products.

Prior to that, two more across-the-board downward movements on pricing were made.
