ADVISORY: Road repairs in from Sept. 8-11

The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct repairs on select roads in the National Capital Region (NCR) beginning tonight (September 8).

In an advisory, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority announced that the DPWH will road reblocking on the following roads from 11 p.m.:

• C-5 Road (southbound) Lane 2, Pasig City
• C-5 to Korean Embassy (southbound) second lane, Makati City
• C-3 Road (eastbound), Between C. Cordero to Rizal Avenue (fourth lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• C-3 Road (eastbound), Between Rizal Avenue to M. H Del Pilar Street (first lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• Epifanio delos Santos Avenue ([EDSA> northbound), Between Gen. Mascardo to Tandang Sora (third lane from sidewalk), Caloocan City
• McArthur Highway (southbound), between Caimito Road to Monumento Circle (inner lane), Caloocan City
• Mindanao Avenue (northbound), tunnel to U-Turn, (first lane from center and service road, Inner Lane), Quezon City
• Mindanao Avenue (southbound), Before Congressional Avenue (second Lane from center), Quezon City
• Bonifacio Avenue (northbound), corner Sergeant Rivera Street (second lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), B. Soliven Street to Doña Carmen (third lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue (northbound), Kristong Hari to B. Soliven Street (third lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• C-5 Road (southbound), After Magsaysay Avenue near U- Turn Slot, Quezon City
• C-5 Road (southbound), After Magsaysay Avenue, Quezon City
• C-5 Road (southbound), After C-5 and Ayala Heights Intersection, Quezon City
• Commonwealth Avenue (southbound), From Shell Gas Station to Zuzuarregui Street (first lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
• Rizal Avenue Exit (northbound), Between Bustamante Street and Monumento Circle (first lane), Caloocan City
• C-5 Road, Along C-5 corner Lanuza Avenue near Casa Verde Townhome, Along Julia Vargas Avenue near Valle Verde, Pasig City
• Mc Arthur Highway (northbound), Malabon City

Per MMDA, the aforementioned roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday (September 11). With the announcement, the agency advised motorists to take alternate routes.
