The country’s leading financial institution, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), launched today its latest promo dubbed “Flex-Rewards.” Through a digital event, BPI introduced a unique way its customers can customize their rewards based on their preferences and financial needs.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What is the duration of BPI's Flex-Rewards promo?

Promo duration is from February 16 to May 16, 2022.
  • Where can BPI clients choose to use their rewards?

Rewards can be used for chattel mortgage fees, insurance premiums, deposit fund credits, AMTC/BIMI placements, amortization payments, and credit card rebates.
  • The Flex-Rewards promo is currently offered to BPI Housing and Auto Loan customers. For the latter, clients must be an individual borrower purchasing a brand-new vehicle for personal or private use. The minimum loan amount is P500,000 with a loan term of either 36, 48, or 60 months.

For every P500,000 booked loan, BPI clients who are eligible for the promo will receive 10,000 reward points. So, if you’re getting a P1,000,000 auto loan, say for a 1.0-liter VE Turbo CVT Nissan Almera, you’ll get 20,000 rewards points. Those getting a P1,500,000 loan, either for a 2021 Innova 2.8-liter E AT or the new Honda Civic V Turbo CVT variant will get 30,000 rewards points, and so on.

According to BPI, the rewards earned can be used by their clients either as a payment to the fees of their loan or for other BPI products. Available options include chattel mortgage fees, insurance premiums, deposit fund credits, AMTC/BIMI placements, amortization payments, and credit card rebates.

Loan applicants must have a minimum downpayment of 20 percent and the loan must be “booked” (defined as full loan amount released to client or seller) on or before June 16, 2022.

Application period is from February 16 to May 16, 2022. Customers can apply online or via BPI branches.
