BYD Cars PH brings out limited-run Seagull Seashell Pink

MANILA: BYD Cars Philippines has recently unveiled the Seagull Seashell Pink in the country.

Revealed at the recently-concluded BYD Tech Tour event at SM North EDSA (Epifanio delos Santos Avenue), the newest offering gave the electrified hatchback a limited-run colorway.

During the launch, BYD Cars Philippines Managing Director Bob Palanca said that a portion of the earnings for each Seagull Seashell Pink sold will be donated to ACHealth's Healthway Cancer Care Hospital — particularly in supporting cancer patients and various cancer-fighting programs. 

According to the ACMobility-led electric vehicle distributor, the BYD Seagull’s special option retails for P958,000.

While carrying a new body hue, the BYD Seagull Seashell Pink shares the same bits with its counterparts painted in Sprout Green, Apricity White, and Delan Black.

• Leather-covered three-spoke, multi-functional steering wheel
• Seven-inch liquid crystal display instrument cluster
• 10.1-inch rotating touchscreen (with Wireless Apple CarPlay, Wireless Android
• Auto, and USB Bluetooth connectivity) paired with a two-speaker, two-tweeter auto setup

Powering the Seagull Seashell Pink is a single electric motor in (front-wheel-drive configuration) matched to a 30-kilowatt-hour (kWh) BYD blade battery.

Per the brand’s local arm, the car has a CCS2 charging port, and a fast-charging direct current (DC) capacity of up to 30 kilowatts. 

Per BYD’s local arm, the model can reach 30-80 percent state of charge in just 30 minutes (using the appropriate DC charging station). 

Guaranteeing stability and controllability are:
