Changan PH inaugurates national HQ

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is assuring its presence in the country as it recently inaugurated its national headquarters.

Aimed to set the standards for its business locally while observing the brand’s global corporate identity, the CMPI National Headquarters will be the premier showcase and training hub for dealership facilities and operations in the country.

The headquarters is erected on more than 2,300 square meters (sqm) of space within the 20-hectare Auto Resources Center (ARC) in Calamba, Laguna. It boasts 3S (sales, service, spare parts) and reflects the brand’s way of serving motorists, which is anchored on its commitment to lasting safety.

The national headquarters’ showroom is 288 square meters big with a six-meter-high ceiling that can display up to nine vehicles.

It also has a dedicated service reception area to accommodate service requests. The 1,245sqm main service workshop and service extension building consists of general job work bays as well as an electric vehicle charging station and body repair work bays with a painting booth and support rooms.

Further, the establishment also has offices and training facilities that embody the brand’s world-class operations in sales, after-sales, and customer relations. 

The service area guarantees to offer Changan’s Vital 5 Plus service offerings: five-year or 100,000 mileage Warranty, Pace-setter Towing Service Mobile initiative, Fastlane 60-minute service guarantee, Veloservice Service Appointment Booking, and the Changan Artificial Intelligence Agent (CAIA).  

“Today, we open our doors for the Filipino to fully experience Changan’s ‘Lasting Safety,’ not only in terms of our product and service offerings, but also in the way we look after the interests of our stakeholders—customers, employees, and neighboring communities whom we intend to reach out to in terms of opening new job opportunities and meaningful corporate social responsibility initiatives,” CMPI President and Chief Executive Officer Fe Agudo said during the inauguration rites.

For his part, CIC Sales Director Arieson Zhang said that it is a privilege “to experience the Philippines as one of the newest and most promising markets of the Changan brand.”

“With the recent launch of the new Changan CS55 Plus in the Philippines and the rise of the headquarters of Changan Philippines plus the entry of more new models to this country, we trust that Changan will carve its own niche in the Philippine auto industry,” the executive added.
