Chelsea FC and Hyundai Partnership: Jerseys to Bear Car Maker’s Logo

Chelsea Football Club has finally chosen its official global automotive partner, and the prestige goes to Hyundai. The deal will see that South Korean car brand's logo feature on the sleeves of the team shirt in all of their home and away games. Hyundai will also be displaying its cars at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium as part of the inked deal.

Hyundai announced that it will remain Chelsea FC's car sponsor until 2022.

"For 20 years, Hyundai has been bringing the dynamism, passion and excitement of football to fans around the world," said Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, vice president of marketing product at Hyundai Motor Europe. "We are thrilled to begin a new partnership with Chelsea, a successful and ambitious club that matches the global scale and challenging spirit of Hyundai."

Chelsea FC will debut the Hyundai logo on July 23, when it plays against Perth Glory in Australia as part of the 2018-2019 Premier League pre-season.

This is the first time Korea's biggest car brand has sponsored a British football team.
