Following the Toll Regulatory Board’s (TRB) announcement, Easytrip subscribers may now register their radio frequency identification (RFID) stickers to Autosweep allowing vehicle owners to use one RFID for both Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and San Miguel Corp. (SMC) expressways.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • What Easytrip RFID stickers can be enrolled to Autosweep.

Per the Easytrip Services Corporation, only RFID Duo stickers, produced by the brand Neology, can be enrolled to Autosweep.
  • Is the Easytrip RFID interoperability mandatory?

The Easytrip Services Corporation confirmed that the Easytrip RFID interoperability is not mandatory.
  • That said, vehicles fitted with Easytrip RFIDs can now use North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Toll Expressway (CAVITEX), Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), C5 Link, Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway (TPLEX), Skyway System, Ninoy Aquino International Airport Expressway (NAIAx), South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Muntinlupa–Cavite Expressway (MCX), and Star toll roads.

The Easytrip Services Corporation reminds its customers, however, that not all Easytrip stickers can be enrolled in Autosweep. Only RFID Duo stickers, produced by the brand Neology, can be enrolled.

Replacement of the RFID sticker is free, per the Easytrip Services Corporation. One will only have to pay the initial load, which will set one back anywhere from P200 to P500.
