Exploring the interior of the Ford Everest

In recent years, we’ve seen a surge in midsize SUVs from manufacturers hailing from different parts of the globe. A segment that was once dominated by Japanese and American automotive brands now sees competition from Chinese and Korean automakers.

However, familiar nameplates are often seen at the top, and one of those is the high and mighty Ford Everest.

The Ford Everest has always been one of Blue Oval’s best-selling models. After a series of updates, the current-gen Everest looks like a midsize SUV you don’t want to mess with.

Depending on the variant, the Ford Everest will come with either a black or chrome grille flanked by LED projector headlamps with DRLs and fog lamps on each side. The imposing front end is complemented by LED taillights and fog lamps at the rear.

Enhancing its dominating dimensions is a set of 18 or 20-inch wheels.

1. Plenty of power

The Ford Everest packs enough outlets for its passengers to recharge their devices while on the road.

Auxiliary 12V power outlets are found on the first, second, and third rows. Having 12V on the ready means you can charge most portable devices like smartphones, tablets, laptop computers, and yes, your Nintendo Switch, although not at the fastest rate.

2. Tremendous tech

The Ford Everest also packs a lot of tech in the cabin. Past the multi-functional steering wheel (with audio and voice controls) is a 4.2-inch dual-color instrument cluster. You also get an eight-inch TFT touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Audio from the infotainment system is sent to a premium 10-speaker audio system with a subwoofer power amplifier.

But that’s not all. All the variants are also equipped with Ford’s Sync 3 with voice-activated controls. The higher trim levels also get on-board navigation.

3. Decent amount of leather

A decent amount of leather can also be found inside the Ford Everest. The multi-functional steering wheel is wrapped with high-quality leather which contributes to a more comfortable driving experience.

The seats are also leather-wrapped and also feature power adjust settings for the driver and front passenger. The third-row seats also feature power-folding functions.

Ford is currently offering the Everest in four variants: the Everest 2.2L Trend 4x2 AT, Everest 2.0L Turbo Sport 4x2 AT, Everest 2.0L Turbo Titanium 4x2 AT, and the Everest 2.0L Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4x4 AT.

Pricing for the aforementioned midsize SUVs are P1,738,000, P1,928,000, P1,995,000, and P2,299,000, respectively.
