The best SUV ever
I have owned quite a few cars until now and I can rightly say that the Toyota Fortuner has been the best among them. It looks very majestic, to begin with. The big size on the outside ensures that the cabin space is very comfortable too. And being a premium SUV, it also gets a lot of good tech features. I love the big 8-inch touchscreen display that I can connect with my phone, either with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, depending on the smartphone I use. There are a total of 9 speakers inside the cabin, which is perfect for a 3D surround sound effect.

Powerful and modern SUV
The Fortuner is a common sight on the Philippine roads because of its comfort and power. The cabin is very huge and is laced with ample modern goodies that deliver a comfortable and relaxed drive. As for the engine, the Fortuner gets a powerful mill that allows you to easily take this car over 120kmph without much stress on the transmission. The boot space is pretty good too as I am able to keep the luggage of my family very easily inside it while going on a vacation. The car does have a high maintenance cost and low fuel efficiency, but this does not bother me.

Commands great respect but overpriced
The Toyota Fortuner, because of its looks and stance commands great respect on the road. There’s plenty of room inside the cabin and a lot of usable storage space. The second row’s legroom is good. The third row can accommodate average height Filipinos. It can be folded down to create more cargo space. I have driven the Ford Endeavour and the comfort in this car is better than the Fortuner. The 2.9-litre diesel engine of the Fortuner does a nice job in hauling the big car. But it’s a bit overpriced. At this price point, Toyota should have offered more safety features.

King of the roads
I’ve been the owner of a Toyota Fortuned 2nd gen for over six months now. Being the owner of many big stances SUVs, the Fortuner had a special appeal to me when I first noticed it at my nearest dealership. The car, in my opinion, is a complete package when it comes to delivering superior performance in the streets and making the highways look really small. The massive engine never ceases to amaze and the beast stance of this car is what is makes it a stand out in its segment.

Pricey, but the kings of SUVs
Yes, the Fortuner is a more expensive car than most of its colleagues but this is a solid and robust SUV. It’s big and commands a superb road presence. There’s a rush of power when the accelerator is pressed. But the power is not brutal. While the gear change is not the quickest, it still helps the SUV to shift the weight with ease. Toyota cars are trusted for their reliability and the Fortuner enhances it. Cabin space is good enough for highway trips. Your legs don’t feel crammed in the third row. I heard the latest version comes with impressive tech features.
