FAW Hongqi appoints EVOxTerra as PH distributor

FAW Hongqi has named EVOxTerra as its official distributor in the Philippines.

Through EVOxTerra, China’s storied luxury car brand will bring new-energy vehicles and internal combustion-energy models to the local automotive scene.

“We are extremely proud to bring this legendary car marque to the Philippines and let Filipinos finally experience for themselves the many reasons why Hongqi remains such an enduring international brand,” said EVOxTerra President Rashid Delgado.

The formal partnership between FAW Hongqi and EVOxTerra comes soon after the Chinese automotive brand’s first appearance in the country via the 10th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) held in October last year.

During the said automotive event, FAW Hongqi gave Filipino car enthusiasts a look at the E-HS9 electric sport utility vehicle. The luxurious automobile flaunted European-inspired styling and plush interior appointments.

“We are very excited to finally enter the Philippine market and give Filipino car enthusiasts the Hongqi brand of utmost luxury, state-of-the-art design, and topnotch performance,” commented FAW Hongqi Overseas General Manager Wang Zuoquan.

The two companies will open a showroom in Bonifacio Global City soon.
