GAC PH to launch 6 models in 2024

GAC Motor Philippines is poised to introduce six models come next year.

GAC Motor Philippines Brand Head Franz Decloedt announced that the brand will bolster its roster with vehicles that empower the company’s customers to chase their passions, seize opportunities, and fulfill their dreams.

Previewed were two of the six upcoming vehicles — the GAC M8 and M6 Pro.

The former is touted as an opulent multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) while the latter is marketed as a “true” seven-seater.

“We have a thrilling roadmap for 2024, and our journey begins here tonight with all of you with the exclusive preview of two new vehicles, two new MPVs. The all-new GAC M8 — which we already pre-announced — and the all-new M6 Pro, which we will talk about later,” noted Decloedt.

The GAC M8 is powered by a 2.0-liter mill married to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The setup produces 248 horsepower with 400 Newton-meters (Nm) of torque.

Meanwhile, the M6 Pro gets a 1.5-liter turbocharged powerplant mated to a seven-speed wet dual-clutch transmission. It is said to make 174 horses and 270Nm of pulling power.

The GAC M8 will  be priced from P3 million-P4.1 million. Meanwhile, the M6 Pro will have a sticker price of P1.2 million- P1.6 million.
