Geely opens dealership in Davao City

Geely Philippines announced the opening of the latest addition to its growing dealership network in the country with the inauguration of Geely Davao.

With the recent opening of Geely Davao, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) has already established four new dealerships in the south of Philippines alongside Geely Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, and General Santos.

Strategically situated at Kilometer 5, JP Laurel Avenue Bajada, Davao City, Geely Davao—opened last March 24, —is under SGAP’s newest dealer partner, Image G Motors under Walter Alvarez. The newest dealership can display six units in its showroom and has a service bay that can attend to eight units simultaneously. Now ready to serve the Davao market, the latest showroom is now on full operation, Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Alvarez expressed excitement over the recently forged partnership. “We are pleased to be part of Geely’s network expansion here in the King City of the South. With how Geely has been greatly performing in the market, I believe that the Davaoeños will be welcoming the brand even more after we have formally opened our doors to them,” he said.

Meanwhile, SGAP President and Chief Executive Officer Mikihisa Takayama is grateful over the confidence Image G Motors has placed unto them.

“Running a business during this time poses a great challenge. But our collective efforts and the trust of our partners make difficulties easier to handle. I would like to thank Image G Motors Davao Inc. for bringing the Geely brand to the King City of the South”, Takayama was quoted as saying.

Earlier, Alvarez also established the Tagum dealership in partnership with Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) and Image Motors Davao Del Norte Inc.
