HondaJet, Honda's First Airplane Venture, Now For Sale in Southeast Asia

So, you want a Honda vehicle that so unique, you won't see another one that looks similar to it around the corner every other minute? Well then, you need the HondaJet, Honda Motor Company's first endeavor in aircraft manufacturing, as sales for it has begun in Southeast Asia.

"We see great potential for the HondaJet in Southeast Asia, one of the world’s fastest growing regions." For the region, Honda Aircraft Company appointed Thai Aerospace Services (TAS) as its dealer and its sales, service and support for HondaJet customers in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam as HondaJet Southeast Asia. TAS is a leading aviation company headquartered in Bangkok with more than 40 years of aviation experience. "Thai Aerospace Services is honored to be selected as a partner to sell and support the HondaJet in Southeast Asia," said Kasabol Bowonsrikan, CEO and managing director of Thai Aerospace Services. "With Bangkok’s central location among the ASEAN countries and proximity to major international hubs like Hong Kong, the range of the HondaJet extends to every destination in the region." According to Honda Aircraft Company, it has delivered 15 aircraft to its customers for the first quarter of 2017, "the most delivered light jet in its class." An impressive start that Honda will be keen on maintaining through the year. In its typical configuration, the aircraft can accommodate one crew member and five passengers, has a maximum cruising altitude of 43,000 feet with a maximum cruising speed of 422 knots (782 kph), and a combined stowage area of 66 cubic feet.
