Hyundai Motor PH brings in 'chunkier Stargazer

MANILA: Hyundai Motor Philippines Incorporated (HMPH) has brought to the country the Stargazer line’s beefier iteration.

The seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle’s (MPV) spruced-up version — which comes with aesthetic upgrades and a longer list of creature comforts — followed the re-introduction of the Venue nameplate for the local market.

The new Hyundai Stargazer — which is already present in neighboring country Indonesia — tapes in at:

Its upgraded aesthetics makes its look more like a sport utility vehicle than an MPV, thanks to its redesigned fascia that matches the following portions:

• Sheriff-style front combination lights
• Revised H-signature LED daytime running lights
• Distinct bumper designs for Stargazer and Stargazer X options
• Functional bridge-type roof rail (limited to the Stargazer X)
• Variant-specific 17-inch alloy wheels

Inside, the new Hyundai Stargazer has been equipped with a pair of 10.25-inch displays (one as a digital instrument cluster with tire pressure monitoring system while the other, an infotainment display with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity).

It also comes with new automatic climate control system, wireless charging pad, and new ambient lighting system.

In terms of space, the new Hyundai Stargazer can carry up to 1,892 liters of cargo as the middle and rear rows can be folded 60/40 and fully flat, respectively.

Powering the new Hyundai Stargazer is still a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline-fed mill middle and third rows paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission that can give:
