Lamborghini bags multiple awards in 2021

Lamborghini has added a truckload of feathers to its cap thanks to the numerous awards it received in 2021. According to the Italian luxury carmaker, the accolades it received last year were nearly double the number it received in the past two years.

Among the honored vehicles is the Sián, Automobili Lamborghini’s first hybrid super sports car. It attracted worldwide attention after journalist Chris Harris named the Sián “Electric Car of the Year” at Top Gear (UK) magazine’s Electric Awards.

The Lamborghini Urus also became one of the brand’s most-decorated models after being voted as the “Best Car” in the Large SUV category (imported car category) for the second consecutive year by the readers of the prestigious German magazine Auto Motor und Sport.

In addition, the Urus has been named as the “Best SUV” in the imported car category by the German magazine Sport Auto and was also recognized by Off-Road (DE), which gave it the “Off-Road Award” in the Luxury SUV category.

Likewise, Lamborghini’s V10-powered Huracán models, the STO and EVO, enjoyed similar praise with the former being awarded twice by Motorsport Magazine (FR) as “Sports Car of the Year” and as “Best Engine 2021.” Meanwhile, CarBuzz (USA) designated the Huracán STO the “2021 Track Weapon.”

The latter, on the other hand, was awarded by the prestigious Robb Report (USA) as “Sports Car of the Year 2021” and as the “Best Convertible for 2021” by Robb Report Singapore as part of the Best of the Best competition. It also received praise from CarandBike magazine (IN) which named the Huracán EVO the “Sports Car of the Year.”
