Mercedes Benz Releases All-New AMG GLB 35 4MATIC

The Mercedes Benz AMG GLB 35 4MATIC has just gone on sale, and it already looks like a smash hit.   The new Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 4MATIC is equipped with a 2.0 liter 4 cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of putting out 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This makes the SUV travel from 0 to 100 kph in 5.2 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kph. The engine comes mated with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G transmission, coupled with AMG performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive and AMG suspension with Adaptive Damping, which further enhances the overall driving performance. The exterior of the GLB 35 4MATIC is fitted with the AMG-specific radiator grille, complete with the AMG rear apron and dynamic spoiler lip, making it look distinctive and part of the AMG family. The new GLB 35 4MATIC comes standard with great features such as MBUX multimedia system with ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice activation, a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster display and 10.25-inch touchscreen media display, an Augmented Reality navigation, hard-disk navigation, smartphone integration with wireless charging for compatible smartphones, and Mercedes-Me connectivity. Standard Mercedes me connected services include; vehicle tracker, parked vehicle locator, and remote locking/unlocking. There are other services and functionalities that can be availed through the me connect store. Inside, the interior is unmistakably Mercedes, combining both sportiness and luxury in one big, elegant package. The cabin is lined in deluxe materials, such as the three-spoke steering wheel lined in Nappa leather. You can even opt for the optional AMG Leather package that offers two-tone sports seats and top stitching on instrument panel and belt line that significantly makes the cabin look nicer. The GLB 35 4MATIC comes standard with other great features such as Multibeam LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, a glass panoramic sunroof, 20-inch matte black AMG five-twin spoke wheels, heated front electrically adjustable memory seats, a Burmester® surround sound system and 64 color interior ambient lighting. Mercedes claims that the GLB 35 4MATIC is the most flexible compact SUV they have ever built, as it is small enough to be classified as a compact, but also big enough to be made into a 7 seater upon request. Another standard feature on the GLB 35 4MATIC is the Driving Assistance package. This comes with great safety features that can aid you on the road such as parking assist nd navigation, Active TSeer Assist, Active Speed Limit Assist, Evasive Steering Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist, and a route-based speed adjustment system that slows your car down when approaching bends and toll stations. "With the new GLB 35 4MATIC we are extending our product portfolio by adding a highly attractive model for an active target group that attaches special importance to versatility.  This also includes the optional seven-seater capability of our new compact SUV, though without having to sacrifice the genes typical of an AMG. Pricing for the GLB 4MATIC is said to start at around £48,665 (Php 3.190 million).
