According to the MMDA Traffic Engineering Center,24,000 four-wheeled vehicles and 23,000 motorcycles traverse the southbound lanes of the flyover daily.

MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Romando Artes recently said that motorcycles will be rerouted to alternative routes such as Scout Borromeo, Panay Avenue, Mother Ignacia Avenue, and Scout Albano.

"This move is to lessen the traffic on Kamuning service road. All vehicles, including motorcycles, are urged to use the alternate routes," he expounded.

Artes also noted that the agency will install more directional and traffic signages as well as additional traffic enforcers in the area to help motorists.

The agency shall ask the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the EDSA carousel buses to utilize the service road daily to ensure uninterrupted retrofitting works at the flyover.

Based on the data from the MMDA Traffic Engineering Center, around 24,000 four-wheeled vehicles and 23,000 motorcycles traverse the southbound lanes of the flyover daily.
