Nissan To Bring 370Z to PH This April

The local arm of Nissan in the Philippines is not yet done delivering excitement, as they have announced that they will add another iconic model to their lineup: the 370Z.

After making rounds over local websites, Nissan has announced that they will be offering the Nissan 370Z into the market this April 2020.

To note, Nissan Philippines previously scheduled a track day for the 370Z and the GT-R but in light of the government’s declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency and other developments related to COVID-19, cancelled the driving event of the 370z, until further notice, to prioritize the health and safety of everyone.

The Nissan 370Z will be offered alongside the GT-R, another well-appreciated offering from the Japanese automaker.

The Nissan 370Z is powerer with the award-winning VQ37 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine able to dish out 327 horsepower and 363 Nm torque.

Such is mated to world’s first SynchroRev matching system, for the 6-Speed manual transmission or a 7-Speed automatic transmission with Magnesium Paddle Shifters and Downshift Rev Matching feature.

To match all that power, the 370Z is fitted with sport-tuned shock absorbers, Nissan Sport Brakes, Limited Slip Differential, and a Carbon Fiber Composite Driveshaft.

The Nissan 370Z retains the sleek, low roofline for better aerodynamics. It sports a low center of gravity, and a short wheelbase for a quicker response and better handling.

Moreover, the Nissan 370Z carries a distinct bumper design with Bi-Xenon HID projector headlamps, and LED Daytime Running Lamps. Rounding out the vehicle’s sporty appearance are 19 inch Forged alloy wheels by RAYS, dual exhaust outlets, and a sleek rear spoiler.

The 370Z features a driver-centric cockpit with 4-way Power Adjustable Sport Seats, triple meter, 8-speaker Bose sound system, push start and stop button, and sports pedals.

Also, Nissan Philippines is also introducing the more exclusive 370Z NISMO.

The Nissan 370Z NISMO features motorsport inspired exterior and interior elements. NISMO design front and rear bumpers, side sills, rear spoiler and door mirrors give the Nissan 370Z NISMO a more aggressive and aerodynamic look, while enhancing front and rear downforce.

The exterior is complemented by NISMO exclusive 19-inch Forged Alloy Wheels by RAYS with twin-five spoke design and a charcoal gray machine-finish. The interior also features NISMO-styled elements including Recaro Sport Seats and steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, NISMO red tachometer and NISMO badging.

The Nissan 370Z NISMO’s power is enhanced with an exclusive NISMO dual exhaust system giving the 3.7-liter V6 engine higher output, (339 horses and 371N-m of torque).

This is solely paired with a 7-Speed automatic transmission with Black Magnesium Paddle Shifters. The Nissan 370Z NISMO also features NISMO-branded strut tower brace for enhanced body rigidity and performance dampers for better handling.

“Nissan has a proven heritage of producing some of the most iconic sports cars in the world, and we’re very excited to celebrate this legacy with the Nissan 370Z. The Nissan 370Z has brought great innovation to the sports car segment, showcasing the perfect combination of practicality and performance,” Atsushi Najima, Nissan in the Philippines President & Managing Director said.

“We are very happy to turn the ‘sports car dream’ into a reality for Filipinos everywhere this April, as we introduce the Nissan 370z into the market. We are looking forward to sharing this with Filipinos craving for a new and thrilling driving experience,” he added.370z
