    Some employees and the NLEX Road Warriors (NRW) distributed Christmas packages to 300 Aeta families and 200 children in Porac, Pampanga and 100 Tullahan River volunteer cleaners in Ugong, Valenzuela City and Talipapa, Quezon City.

    Further, the toll operator also gave assorted goods and sacks of rice to Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth — a home for the poor, surrendered, abandoned, and mentally-challenged individuals.

    As part of its annual “Toys for Tots” project aimed at bringing cheer to children, the NLEX Corporation also delivered 18 boxes of toys donated by employees along with some hygiene kits and food supplies to Ephesus Home for Girls in Bulacan.

    The company noted that it also gave some of its funds to other charitable institutions in Metro Manila.

    The NRW players who joined the NLEX Corporation employees in the gift-giving activities were Asi Taulava, Anthony Semerad, Paul Varilla, Kris Rosales, Reden Celda, and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser.

    Earlier, MPT South — another toll operator under MPTC — conducted their own set of gift-giving programs by providing Christmas gifts and goodies to 300 children in Silang, Cavite and Santa Rosa, Laguna.
