BLOCBAGETS. Nope, we’re not talking about that show from the ’80s. BLOCBAGETS — which per Prestone stands for brake fluid, lights, oil, coolant, battery, air, gas, engine, tire, and of course, self — is a term that reminds drivers the list of things they need to check before heading on to the road.

Brakes, for example, need the right amount of fluid to make sure that they function properly. Similarly, the engine oil and the coolant, ensure the vehicle’s powerplant does not overheat. Prestone, a proven and trusted quality brand of auto care fluids since 1927 and a road safety advocate, is offering its customers a wide selection of fluids for their vehicles, like the DOT 3 or DOT 4 Synthetic Hi-Temp Brake Fluid and the Prestone Asian Vehicles Antifreeze + Coolant.

In addition, Prestone also offers disinfecting products to keep the driver and the passengers safe during their trips. The Prestone Disinfecting Car Wipes can be used to clean your vehicle’s dashboard, console, steering wheel, window buttons, door handles, and gear stick, among others.

To reinforce its commitment to advocating road safety this holy week, Prestone has again thrown its support to the Safe Trip Mo, Sagot Ko (SMSK) Motorist Assistance Program of the Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC). It aims to ensure a safer and smoother journey for drivers when traveling this coming holiday at MPTC-owned expressways, such as North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), and Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

The abovementioned program reminds motorists to observe the speed limit, proper distance between vehicles, and avoidance of swerving, among others, to be safe.

“As we reflect on our lives this holy week and spend it with our loved ones, we must ensure our safety when we travel. We at Prestone has always been an advocate for road safety. That is why we promote and encourage motorists to check their BLOCBAGETS to keep their vehicles safe and secure and follow the traffic rules and regulations on the road. We also hope that with the help of our products, we can observe the holy week a lot safer,” said Clorox International Marketing Manager for South East Asia Monique Gonzales.
