Radar EV PH sells 112 units in June 2026

MANILA: UAAGI Auto Group experienced a strong retail performance last month after selling 112 RD6 (globally known as the Riddara RD6) units.

The aforementioned churn reflected a 155-percent increase compared to its 44 examples sold in May 2026.

In a statement, the brand's local distributor said that last month’s result "highlights a growing segment of the market opting for electric mobility in the pickup truck category, traditionally dominated by internal combustion engines."

Vehicle specifications

Instead of having a body-on-frame platform, the Radar RD6 utilizes a dedicated electric unibody architecture. This design, which complements its independent multi-link rear suspension, ensures comfort similar to a passenger vehicle while maintaining its utilitarian form.

Its RD6 4WD variant is powered by a pair of electric motors that lets is sprint 0-100 kilometers per hour in less than six seconds. On paper, this powertrain configuration can deliver:

The model offers battery options of up to 73 kilowatt-hours, which gives the Radar RD6 an emissions-free driving range of up to 443 kilometers (based on the New European Driving Cycle). Meanwhile, the RD6 EM-P 4WD plug-in hybrid kind addresses range anxiety with combined driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers.

Thanks to its vehicle-to-load capability, the Radar RD6 can be utilized as a mobile power source—powering up tools and appliances with as much as 3.5 kilowatts of electricity using the outlets in the cabin and cargo bed. This can also serve as backup power during outages.

The RD6 Econ boasts a payload capacity of up to one ton, while the RD6 EM-P Elite 4WD can carry up to 800 kilograms as well as an 815-millimeter wading depth.

UAAGI also claimed the Radar RD6 also offers significantly cuts down operating costs. The Users of the Econ trim need to shell out P2.64 per kilometers to operate and has an estimated preventive maintenance cost of only P8 per day—which is up to 84 percent cheaper over the course of three years compared to a diesel-powered pickup.

Meanwhile, the RD6 EM-P Elite 4WD’s operating costs is only around P3.86 per kilometer, with an estimated preventive maintenance cost of just P29 per day—providing savings of at least 76 percent compared to a diesel-powered pickup.

Nationwide support

The Radar RD6 is packaged with a five-year or 150,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty, as well as an eight-year or 200,000-kilometer high-voltage battery warranty. It is also backed by UAAGI's nationwide dealer network and aftersales support.

The Radar RD6 is now available for viewing and reservations at authorized dealerships nationwide.
