Shell Philippines bounces back by giving back

Pilipinas Shell

In their bid to help some communities with their own comeback, Shell Philippines is giving back to its customers and communities while making its comeback while the lockdown has been eased.

Though Shell Select, the oil company partnered with local entrepreneurs to boost their livelihood by offering local and regional products among  limited stores.

These offers are part of Shell’s efforts to be of service to its local community.

Aside from this, Shell GO+ boosted PUV drivers by giving 400 points to those are part of its most active member base.

The points can be used to buy Shell quality fuels or items from Select. To date, Shell has given a total of P3.2 million, with the efforts still ongoing to alleviate the effects of COVID-19 for drivers on the road.

Further, drivers can also avail two site-specific promos within the coming weeks: the Get Gas, Get Bigas promo, which is available in Shell stations outside of Metro Manila and the rewards-based program within Greater Manila Area (GMA).

Customers can get one kilo of rice for  gas up of Shell FuelSave worth P2,000 or Shell V-Power worth P1,500.

Shell customers can gas up and immediately claim their free kilo of rice by presenting a valid receipt. This is on top of the points earned for its SM Advantage Card and GO+ points for customers. This promo will be until July 15.

On the other hand, those who are within GMA will have P20 worth of items for every P750 purchase of Shell FuelSave and P500 worth of Shell V-Power.

This offer—available also until July 15— includes discounts on Shell lubes or oil change packages, snacks at Shell Select, or items from Shell Shop.

As the country is gradually easing restrictions, Shell Philippines is not slowing down on plotting out safety measures for the new normal scenario.

As they bounce back stronger, Shell is eyeing to be the benchmark on safety in mobility, with its technology and updated guidelines.

To ensure safety are in place, Shell placre more stringent measures for the safety of both its employees and customers.

To start, health checks are conducted for staff and partner establishments before the start of their shift. All of the staff, including those in the lube bay and Shell Select, have been trained on all proper sanitation and COVID-19 prevention measures: reminded to regularly and thoroughly wash their hands, with extra precautionary measures like alcohol-based sanitizers at the forecourt.

Shell stations staff are required to wear personal protective equipment, such as face masks, while others have face shields for added protection.

To have easy access to regular handwashing, select Shell stations have readily made available wash areas to try and keep frequently touched surfaces and areas with high traffic, such as pumps, shop doors, payment terminals, and other common areas like customer restrooms, clean.

Meals and snacks in Shell Select, Shell Deli2go, and partner establishments within the site are observing proper food safety and handling.
