Suzuki clean-up ride with Burgman Street

More than 200 riders using the Suzuki Burgman Street conducted a one-day clean-up ride to raise awareness about the looming issue of pollution.

  • The initiative to clean up Rave Forest Adventure Park in Pasig City was part of the Suzuki Helps, Aids and Rebuilds (SHARE) program. Suzuki Philippines (SPH) said in a statement that many of the participants are from the various chapters of the Suzuki Burgman Street Elite Riders Club PH.

    “By showcasing the Burgman Street in this manner, it solidifies the fact that the Burgman Street is a very important product to Suzuki Philippines," Suzuki Philippines Motorcycle Marketing Manager Nenuka Guba was quoted as saying.

    According to Suzuki Burgman Street Elite Riders: Laguna Chapter, Co-Founder and Team Leader Jaz Tan, their group utilized social media channels to invite as many participants as possible. "I am delighted with the number of participants. I want to thank them all and Suzuki Philippines for giving us the opportunity to join this event," she added.

    The participants rid the Rave Forest Adventure Park of trash.

    “Promoting environmental awareness is an integral part of Suzuki Philippines' corporate social responsibility. We can start fixing the problems that threaten our ecosystem by teaching the community, our riders, and friends that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable. As stewards of the environment, we encourage everyone to participate in the change and teach our community what is needed to create a sustainable future,” Guba explained.

    Suzuki clean-up ride with Burgman Street

    SPH shared that the riders in the event expressed belief that the scooter was the “best in the segment”, claiming that it is perfect for work, leisure travel, and long rides. 

    Priced at P78,900, the Suzuki Burgman Street is equipped with a 125cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, single overhead cam, two-valve engine that can deliver 8.58 horses and 10.2Nm of torque. The same engine can also do a 53.5 kpl consumption.

    The model was introduced in late 2020.
