Suzuki Philippines opens satellite dealership in Central Visayas

Suzuki Philippines bolsters its local presence by adding yet another satellite dealership to its already extensive network of outlets. The country’s pioneer compact car distributor and local arm of Suzuki partners with car and motorcycle dealer, Des Strong Motors, Inc.

The launch of the Suzuki Auto Ubay Satellite marks Des Strong Motors, Inc.’s third dealership — along with Suzuki Auto Bohol and Suzuki Auto Ozamis dealerships.

The opening of the new Suzuki Auto Ubay Satellite was done through a virtual grand opening ceremony on March 20, 2021. On-site ribbon cutting was led by execs from Des Strong Motors Inc., headed by its president Dr. Silvestre A. Lumapas, Camille Lumapas, Marilou Du-Lumapas and Tom Joshua Lumapas. Virtually present were Suzuki Philippines department heads.

The newly established dealership sits in Purok 1, Bood, Ubay, Bohol, and will operate on a 490-sqm. space with a showroom display that can showcase four Suzuki models simultaneously. In addition, it will offer two working bays to accommodate and service vehicles.

Despite the country’s current state during this pandemic, Suzuki Philippines continues to find ways to express and display its unwavering determination to have its products accessible to the general public. Suzuki’s local lineup includes best-sellers like the hatchbacks Swift and Celerio, the Dzire and Ciaz sedans, and the Ertiga MPV.

The Japanese car maker looks to make 2021 a busy year. With only three months in, they have already refreshed their Suzuki Auto San Pablo Satellite and held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Suzuki Auto Matina dealership in Davao. And as Suzuki Auto Ubay Satellite opens its doors, the brand takes a step further expanding its reach and strengthening their presence in the local automotive industry.
