MANILA: Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has expanded its lineup with the all-new bZ4X, signalling the start of its journey into all-electric mobility.
With the launch of the bZ4X in the local market, the Japanese brand’s local arm now has the widest range of electrified vehicles (xEV) in the country — with 22 new energy models under Toyota and Lexus.
Before bringing in the Toyota bZ4X, TMP’s roster of electric vehicles (EV) was previously made up of the Lexus RZ and UX.

Vehicle specifications
For propulsion, the all-new bZ4X uses a dual motor setup paired with an all-wheel-drive system. The said motors are linked toa 73.11-kilowatt-hour Lithium-ion battery.

The emissions-free drivetrain offers drive modes that include Eco and X-mode.
For its exterior, the all-new Toyota bZ4X wears angular details all around, while still sporting a recognizable crossover silhouette. Its sharp-edged appearance is complemented by LED headlights, 20-inch alloy wheels, and a panoramic moonroof. The model also has a power back door with a kick sensor and a ground clearance of 200 millimeters (mm).
Photo from Toyota Motor PhilippinesInside the Toyota bZ4X is a five-seater layout equipped with synthetic leather seats with built-in heating, although only the ones in the front get ventilation. Moreover, the model has an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with a memory function.
Additionally, the driver's side has an eight-way power chair that can be adjusted based on memory settings.

Additionally, the all-new BZ4X was kitted out with the latest Toyota Safety Sense suite of driver assistive technologies, which is comprised of the following:
