Toyota PH opens reservations for Raize

The Toyota Raize is one of the brand’s most-anticipated offerings for 2022. Soon after word spread that the crossover SUV might make it to the Philippines, many Filipinos have shown their interest in the Toyota Raize.

    Locally, the Toyota Raize will be offered in four variants — 1.0 Turbo CVT, 1.2 G CVT, 1.2 E CVT, and 1.2 E MT — and will be priced from P746,000 to P1,036,000. Available colors include white, silver, gray, red, yellow, and turquoise. Two-tone colors are available exclusively for the range-topping 1.0 Turbo CVT variant.

    According to Toyota's website, the E variant of the PH-spec Raize will be equipped with halogen headlamps, DRLs, standard turn signals, halogen fog lamps, and LED rear combination lamps. Its G and Turbo CVT variants offer a similar setup but replaces the halogen headlamp with split-type LED headlights and the standard front turn signal with LED sequential ones.

    Inside, the E variants get fabric seats, a urethane steering wheel, an Optitron instrument cluster, and an eight-inch display audio unit. The G and Turbo CVT ones offer more upscale interior amenities such as seats wrapped in fabric with synthetic leather, a leather steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a larger nine-inch infotainment system.

    In terms of safety, the Raize comes with front SRS airbags (driver, passenger, side, and curtain available for 1.0 Turbo CVT variant), ABS, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, and clearance and back sonars. The G and Turbo CVT models get a rear camera while the range-topping Turbo CVT variant gets additional safety features in the form of a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert,

    The Toyota Raize is slated to be launched officially in February.
