Waku-Doki Goes to the Queen City of the South

Cebu City—The long wait is over. Finally, the "Waku-Doki" experience simmers down south in Cebu City for the staging of the second leg of the Vios Cup Season 2 at Toyota SRP Cebu Street Circuit at the South Road Properties.

Cebuanos yesterday witnessed the spectacle live during the qualifying stages.

In the promotional class, DJ/Host Sam YG led the qualifying round with the best time of 1:15.715. Three seconds behind was actor Derek Ramsay with 1:18.104. Not far off, meanwhile was Paolo Rodriguez with 1:18.346.

Meanwhile, in the more competitive sporting class division, son of basketball legend Hector Calma, Andres Calma topped other racers with a best time of 1:12.759, followed by last season's contender Allan Uy, with 1:13.161 and  Victor Buensuceso with 1:13.161. Last season's champion Luis Gono qualified 5th with 1:13.962.
