WATCH: Dodge reveals ‘Runnin’ Hyde’ teaser video for final ‘Last Call’ car
Dodge has revealed the first video teaser, titled “Runnin’ Hyde,” for the American carmaker’s final “Last Call” car.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
What clue does the first video give?
The first teaser video from Dodge reveals a leprechaun intravenously injecting himself with liquid gold. When will the next video come out?
The next teaser video will come out on March 1, 2023.You can check it out, here.
The 25-second clip starts with a shot of an IV bag, which one can assume contains liquid gold. Next, we see a leprechaun who intravenously injects himself with the substance — causing him to undergo a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-like transformation. See what they did there?
It’s not clear what the video is hinting at, but it could mean that the seventh “Last Call” car would come in gold paint. Those following the brand would remember that back in 2021, Stellantis made the “Gold Rush” paint available for the Dodge Charger R/T, Scat Pack, Scat Pack Widebody, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye models.
The gold exterior paint, first introduced on the Challenger 50th Anniversary Limited Edition, will probably make a fitting finish for a car that’s about to reach the end of its line.
And while we can all play Blue’s Clues or share conspiracy theories all day, it’s best to wait for the next teaser video, which will come out on March 1.
The final “Last Call” car is slated to be revealed during the Dodge Last Call Powered by Roadkill Nights Vegas event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 20, 2023.
